ReUse Market – Joan Scofield- Program 02/19/26
February 19 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Joan Scofield from the ReUse Market will be introducing a sustainability challenge for guild members for 2026, as follows:
“To encourage the use of recycled and ‘stash material, as well as the inclusion of unconventional materials, The ReUse Market is hosting a Small Group Challenge for sustainable quilts at the 2026 BBQ Annual Quilt Show.
Registered participants will be given a $50 store credit for material from the ReUse Market to use in their quilts, and winners will also receive gift certificates for use in The Market, in addition to cash prizes. Material sourced from The Market is NOT limited to thread, batting, and fabric, and participants are encouraged to incorporate unconventional materials; otherwise, quilts should follow the standard BBQ guidelines for both the sustainable quilt category and the small-group challenge quilts category. Note: Store credit is limited to the first 30 registered participants, but additional participants may submit quilts following standard BBQ guidelines/deadlines.
