oin us for a chance to learn a new technique or use your lingering stash as you make a block to contribute to a Block of the Month quilt drawing!

With the grass growing and the spring flowers blooming, we all itch to be out in the warm fresh air. But when your back is aching and the knees give out, take a break and put together one of the fun blocks from the BOM committee.

This month, Memories will be a fun block to piece as you look out at approaching good weather and plan to appliqué the fun, cute Doggie in the Window. If you have been waiting for another paper-piecing project, it has arrived in colorful Aztec Logs. These are fun easy projects to try a new quilting skill, to show others your expert quilting skills, or a just-for-fun block to put together.

Stop by the Block of the Month table at the next meeting and purchase a pattern, they’re just one dollar each. Use the provided fabric in the package to get you started.  Then use fabrics from your stash to complete each block. Return the finished block with the entry form next month, and you may be the lucky winner of all the returned blocks for that group. If you win, you’ve got a quilt top for a buck — how wonderful is that!

We love to chat, so please stop by the Block of the Month table and pick up a block or two or three.
