ur 2023 quilt is the gorgeous “Gem State“.Designed and created by Stitchin’ Sisters of Nampa with exceptional quilting by Guild member LaWanda Richardson.
The quilt features just about every technique you can think of … traditional piecing (both hand and machine); paper piecing; hand, needle-turn, and machine appliqué; hand and machine embroidery; and improvisational piecing. All the blocks represent “Idaho”.
What better ways to celebrate 40 years of quilt making in the Treasure Valley?!
A photo book documenting the quilt’s journey from inception to completion is in the works to accompany the quilt to its lucky winner.
Size is approximately 88″ by 93″.
Tickets are $2 for one or a book of 3 for $5 and can be purchased at any guild meeting or from a guild member.
Members are encouraged to check out the big or small quilt, take bookmarks and raffle tickets to retreats to market the show and sell tickets.
