ur Guild members enjoy sharing their finished quilts at our general meeting each month. Its a great time to check out color schemes, patterns that may interest you, and admire the work of our fellow artists!

    • Ann Swanson created & quilted "Fruit for Lunch", from painted blocks made by her sister for the Guild Challenge.  Ann used the Lucky at Checkers pattern for the table runner.
    • Linda Jolly created & quilted "in the Woods" from the book "Beyond Neutral".
    • Linda Jolly created and quilted "Sttarriffic".
    • Madeleine Trainor made & quilted this small quilt to practice for a miniature she is making for the Quilt Show this September.
    • "Roses Along the Rhine" was created & quilted by Barbara Smith from fabric found while travelling in Germany last summer.
    • "Color Splash" was created and quilted by Jackie Fuller from batik fabrics received in the BBQ fabric exchange years ago.
    • Jackie Fuller & her husband are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.  This will hang on the wall during our celebration.
    • "Blooming Snowball" was created by Kenna Worthington and quilted by Quilt Expressions.  She made this quilt to try a new Accuquilt die.
    • Kenna Worthington made "Celebrate" from fabric exchange strips. It was quilted by Quilt Expressions.
    • "Arabic Lattice" created & quilted by Susan Herndon
    • "Vintage Butterfly" presented by Karen Falvey was a donation to the Hidden Springs Quilters. The maker & quilter are unknown.
    • "Pedaling Home" was made and quilted by Karen Falvey from the Slice and Dice pattern from the Quilt Expressions.
    • This baby quilt was made by members of the Piece in the Valley small group.  It will be donated to the BBQ Quilt for Kids.

    • "Monterey Memories" by Phyllis Kizer & quilted by Paula Leonhard started with a panel of Monterey, CA.  The nine patch blocks were added after a Pizazz class!
    • "Flower Power" by Phyllis Kizer & quilted by Paula Leonhard is from a kit.  Phyllis was intrigued by the design, as a gift for her nephew & wife.
    • "Jinny's Garden" made & quilted by Marilyn Himes is from a Jinny Beyer BOM pattern - king sized!
    • "License Plate Quilt" made & quilted by Margie Braach resulted from 50 shops in Idaho, Montana, and Wyo.
    • "Flower Baskets" made & quilted by Margie Braach is from embroidered block from the BBQ Block of the Month several years ago.

    • Jude Reppell worked on her whole cloth free motion quilting with this "Free Motion Sunshine."

    • Joleen Graham has 2 quilts she made and quilted - Emma's doll quilt and Corwin's quilt, from a Jelly Roll Jam II pattern.
    • Carol Mitchell designed her "Log Cabin" in EQ6 in 2007.  Another unfinished quilt completed!
    • Barbara Smith like "flowers All Around" from Cindy Lamon's book. She also quilted it.
    • Barabara Smith made a second quilt from the fabric purchased for the previous quilt, "Dresden Flowers" a free Moda pattern.
    • Barbara Matson made and quilted her first quilt, "Puppies", from the "Big Book of Baby Quilts."
    • Connie Emmen designed "Sprial Bang Theory' from the Modern Quilt Guild Michael Miller fabric challenge.  This quilt will hopefully be juried into QuiltCon,  February of 2016.
    • "Celtic Compass" was made and hand quilted by Karel Metcalf. It was started 5 years ago and completed this year when she added the last border, somewhat mimicking the Mariner's Compass points.
    •  "Purple & Green" was created  and quilted for Carmella Wilson's grand daughter fro a Log Cabin pattern by Eleanor Burns.
    • Diane Wilton made and quilted this "O Christmas Tree" from a panel with a double border and a simple star pattern.
    • leida Houdyshell made "Perfect Harmony" and Teri Hair quilted it.  The pattern is from Fons & Porter.  Aleida purchased the material on a cruise to Australia and New Zealand.  What a great memory!
    • "Kathy's House's" was started by Kathy Longstroth.  Maureen Stevens added 18 more house blocks, put it together and quilted it for her.  Maureen will give it to her now that it is finished.
    • Sue Kreger's friend's dog died after 18 years.  She saved all the bandanas from visits to the vet.  This quilt is from the bandanas.
    • Eileen Wardle, ccreated & quilted "Christmas Nine Patch" , inspired by Julia Ziegler's Schoolhouse class on the Quick Curve Ruler.  This is from a book, "Sew kind of Wonderful - Curve it Up"
    • Cheryl Little owns this 1990s jacket, made by Oregon Treasures and the owners Barb Shefield & Bev Vickery, as a thank you.  Note the glasses are the real 1990's era!  She carried a Serenity Cell Phone Purse by Celia Roberts that is not pictured here.

    • Karen Falvey created & quilted "Outback-Fantasy Flower" from the pattern "outback" and fused applique.  These were made with her Go Cutter and the Fantasy Flower die.
    • Margie Braach created & quilted "Row by Row Mountains" for the over 50 quilt shops she collected patterns from this summer!
    • Margie Braach hand embroidered and quilted "Redwork Kids".  The miniature quilt is made with what was supposed to be the corner stones!
    • Barbara Smith made and quilted "Churn Dash Garden" for the Pink Hippo ladies.  The center is appliqued and the churn dash blocks were cut on her Go Cutter.  This speeds up the process and accuracy!
    • Barbara Smith's "Circles of the Orient" is made with reverse machine applique.  Quilted by Jude Rappell.

    • Carol Mitchell created & quilted "My Honu" from a machine quilting/embroidery class by Barbara Shapel.  Although it may look like applique, it is all done with thread work.

    • Eileen Wardle presented & quilted "Blues" from star blocks made by friends in the "Piece in the Valley" quilt group.
    • "My Grandmother's Flower Garden" was made by Lona Schuster & quilted by Quilt Expressions.  Six generations of the Gray family pieced this quilt together, starting in 1872-74.
    • This crib quilt "Rowdy Rider" was created & quilted by Cindy Schroeder from a pattern "Motorcycle", by Quilt Woman.

    • "Tumbling Blocks, My Way" was created and quilted by Margie Braach, using 8" squares of assorted tone-on-tone fabrics from BBQ Fabric Exchange.
    • Carmella Wilson created & quilted "Log Cabin Quilt" as her "first quilt from start to finish that looks good!"
    • "Welcome to My Neighborhood" was made by Patty Henry when a friend gave her this quilt kit.  It is the design of Yoko Saito and is hand quilted by Patty herself.
    • Elaine Cederquist created & quilted this "Wedding Wisdom" for a wedding present.  Marriage advice was given from relatives and friends and incorporated.
    • Reo Baumberger made two quilts for the Celebration in Saint Maries, Id.  Gwen Smith quilted them.

    • "Celebration of Flight" was created by Carol Johnson & quilted by Debbie Johnson. This won awards at the Western Idaho Fair and BBQ's annual show.
    • "Wild" was created by Mykenzie Crawford & quilted by Debbie Johnson.  This is Mykenzie's second quilt.
    • "Mountain Window" was made and quilted by Hope Ayres for a raffle quilt for the Donnelly Fire Dept.
    • "The River" was made and quilted by Hope Ayres as commissioned for a thank you for donated land for a Pickleball court in Cascade ID.
    • Monica Clement's twin girls, Andie & Alyse, learned to quilt over the summer, with "Elephants on Parade".

    • Leslie Harrison made "Orange Cabbages" from Kaffe Fassett's Cabbage prints.  Connie Emmen is the quilter.

    • Laura Lee created "Cathedral Windows Goes Modern".  This king size bed cover is not quilted, due to the method of machine construction.
