ur Guild members enjoy sharing their finished quilts at our general meeting each month. Its a great time to check out color schemes, patterns that may interest you, and admire the work of our fellow artists!

    • Louise Maley made this pinwheel variation for her husband to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.  Linda Jolley quilted it.
    • Meri Kay Woodworth created and quilted these "Aggie Quilts" from Utah State t-shirts for family members.  After the first on she simplified it by making all the shirts square - much faster!
    • Mitzi Aden created and quilted "Black & Whites" for her grandson to take to college.  It was made from a pack of black & white strips.
    • Meri Kay Woodworth created & quilted "Fancy Fox".  She bought the backing fabric first and then made the foxes to match it.
    • Lois Alice created & quilted this "One Block Wonder" of hexagons.  It was fun to get in the grove and quilt feathers in the border.
    • Karen Falvey created and quilted "Huamper Leftovers" from leftovers from the wedding quilt made for his son's wedding in 2003.
    • Donna Swanson created & quilted this layer cake disappearing 9 Patch.  It is a wedding gift for Liza who is in  St. Petersburg, Russia.
    • "Log Cabin Stash" was began as a way to use up Donna's stash.  Even the solid fabric and backing was from her stash!
    • Barbara Smith created "Quilters Patch" from a block of the month at Cindy's Quilt Shop in Caldwell.  This is from a Laundry Basket Quilts book.
    • Maryon Evans  made "Winter Reds" from a Moda & Minnick collection, and Blue Bird Quilt Studio quilted it.  It took several years to complete.
    • Connie Emmen presented and quilted "Aunt Ethel's Flower Garden" for her aunt's 90 birthday.  The Dresden plates were from blades that were rescued from a scrap bag by the BBQ Inheritance team.
    • Phyllis Kizer created the "Schoolhouse" and it was quilted by Sew & Sews.  This started with the black & white window pane fabric.
    • This Crazy Quilt was made by Cathy Venosdel's great-grandmother.  Mona Harp, Tina Hutto and Cathy repaired the muslin lining, patched it with wool suitings, replaced the batting with 100% cotton, retied it and bound it with a suiting -look binding to finish it.
    • Dresden Plate blocks were made & quilted by Barbara Smith.  Barbara enjoys piecing and applique with Dresden Plates, as this is her #5 so far!
    • This Woven Quilt of Valor was presented by Esther Kleinkauf and quilted by Connie Emmen., from a pattern titled 'Chain Reaction.'
    • This Quilt of Valor was made and quilted by Nancy England from a pattern titled "Blue Cheese Night".
    • "Miniature Pinwheel" was made and quilted by Joy Saxon. as her first and last Miniature quilt. This is the result of the BBQ Schoolhouse presented by Maureen Stevens.
    • "Lattice Baby Quilt" was created and quilted by Darci Mead out of scraps for her cousin's baby girl, due in March this year.
    • "Kapakahi Quilt" was created & quilted by Darci Mead from a class in 2004 for the 'quilt-as-you-go' method.  Finished sashing it this year!
    • "Wallflower" was created and quilted by Shannon Wilson as an exercise in applique. She machine quilted it on her domestic sewing machine.
    • "Grandma's Album Quilt" was created by the Clark County Sewing Circle in 1941; ladies were related to Lois Alice's grandmother.  Lois made and quilted the 30 blocks into two quilts.
    •  "Phone Home" was created and quilted by Linda Jolly, from a quilt kit.  Gotta love the fabric!
    • "Seaglass" was made and quilted by Karen Falvey.  This quilt is the result of the free motion class sponsored by BBG a few years ago.
    • "Turtle" was created and quilted by Karen Falvey in a class with Barbara Shapel some time ago. Thread painting made each class project unique.

    • "Sophia's Star", made and quilted by Chris Klover. This quilt is made up mostly of leftover fabric from a twinbed quilt for her first grandaughter.
    • "Panda Baby" made and quilted by Hope Ayres. The was made for her grandchild that was due in February.
    • "Fire Escape" was created and quilted by Margie Braach.  A new quilt for an RV bed was just the thing for this pattern and fabrics.
    • "Pine Tree Farm" created & quilted by Maureen Stevens.  This long standing UFO was one of two created about 10 years ago and finished this fall.
    • "Grandma's Scrap Bag" created & quilted by Maureen Stevens, started with a sack of cut squares from a thrift shop.  This traditional 9-patch is a utility quilt.
    • "Hearts of Love" made by Sharon Culley & quilted by Jacque McVey.  Started 10 years ago, this was presented to Sharon parents for their wedding anniversary.
    • The "Modern Granny" was made & quilted by Madeleine Trainor, starting with the vintage prints and yellow fabric as a donation to her small quilt group.  She resized the hexegons and added the oranges and white using a Gyleen Fitzgerald technique.
    • Karen Falvey made & created "Allison's Garden".  This was started in a workshop with Jacqueliine de Jonge several years ago.
    • "Ten Minute Block Quilt" made & quilted by Joy Saxon, so called as whenever Joy has 10 minutes to site & sew, she make this quilt block from scraps.
    • "Kara's Baby Quilt" was made & quilted by Joy Saxon  for a couple with their second child.
    • Joleen Graham created "Compass Roses" from a Craftsy kit.  Two years in the making, the quilt was quilted by Connie Emmen.
    • Joleen Graham created "Moroccan Mystery 2017" from a Jinny Beyer's BOM.  Joleen Created this along with her sister starting in Jan. 2017.  Connie Emmen quilted this wall hanging.
    • Barbara Smith made and quilted the "Farmhouse Quilt" from an Edyta Sitar design.
    • Barbara Smith created & quilted "hope's Diamond" from a set of rulers called Leaves Galore by Sue Pelland.
    • Phyllis Kizer made this "Bargello Christmas", quilted by Laurel Bennett.
    • "Chippewa Nine Patch" made & quilted by Barbara Smith has 225 nine patches!  This will be donated to the Quilts of Valor.
    • Marilyn Himes created & quilted this "Quilt of Gratitude" for her son, a Boise City Policeman.
    • Alice Norman created & quilted  "Corona" to show how the Magnetosphere works.  When the magnetic waves collide with earth's atmosphere, it creates the Northern Lights.
    • "Box Trot" was created by Linda Murphy and quilted by Shirley Blakeley , created from Creative Sewutions.  The boxes frame photos of  Linda's grandson with family & friends.
    • "A Year of Blooms" was created by Karen Falvey and quilted by Yvette Ebaugh.  Most of the top was made in 2006-07 as part of a Saturday Sampler program.
    • "Red Star" made and quilted by Gerrie Thompson was made from Judy Neimeyer's pattern, Prairie Star.
    • "Never Again" AKA "Storm at Sea" was made & Quilted by Evelyn Marzinelli.  Made from a John Flynn kit of laser-cut tiny 695 pieces.
    • "In and Out" was made by Dian Cenar & quilted by Carol Linder, from a pattern by Blue Underground.
    • Connie Emmen assembled & quilted this Quilt of Valor as a sample of blocks we'll be making at the QOV National Sew Day, Feb. 2, 2018.
    • Marla Dike used Batiste, lace & machine embroidery to show off various heirloom techniques; from a book by Martha Pullen.
    • "3000 Pieces Later", made & quilted by  Ann Swanson. This was a result of taking scraps out of potential pet beds.
    • "Bento Box - Wedding Style" was made & quilted by Ann Swanson.  Five years after her son's wedding guests signed strips of fabric, Ann assembled the strips into this Bento Box pattern.
    • "Exploring the Power of Lines" , made & quilted by Ann Swanson.  Ann was influenced by various works of art, Kathleen Probst and Lisa Ross Flowers.
    • "After April Showers" created & quilted by Eveylyn Marzinelli. She made this in appreciation for the eye surgeon who ultimately saved her vision.  made from English paper-piecing in 'Modern Patchwork' magazine.
    • "Dazzling Dragonflies" created by Julie Davis & quilted by Natalie Hutchinson. Started in 2005, Aunt Natalie rescued it and quilted it for Julie.
    • "Embroidered Squares" created & quilted by Shannon Wilson.  Inside the squares are embroidered inspirations from Shannon's mom.
    • "Pink Daisy Extravaganza" created by 92 year-old mother of Phyllis Kizer and quilted by Paula Leonard.  This will be donated to a family that lost their home in the N California fires.
    • "Christmas Elegance" , created & quilted by Anita Litteer from the 'Tile Works' pattern by Kim Schaefer.
    • "Flower Garden" created & quilted by Maureen Stevens from a class by Gretchen Riel - 'Grandma's Scrap Basket'.  The class was at Stitch n Snip.
    • "Rainbow Quilt" created & quilted by Margie Braach from 'Spinning Cartwheel', a pattern by Joyce Cambron of Boise.
    • "Garden Gradation" created by Lisa Bee Wilson & quilted by Robyn Shafer.  Made from McCall's Quilting magazine.
    • "Starbear & Friends" created & quilted by Danette Kroft is from the magazine 'Quiltmaker'.  She used Kim Diehl's method of applique using monofiliment. Sandi Roger did the embroidery.
    •  "Spin Wheels" created & quilted by Sharon Culley. Pattern is from Better Homes & Gardens.
    • "Kissing Fishes" created and quilted by Darci Mead.  This pattern is from the book "Freshly Pieced Modern Patterns."
    • "Mia and Steve's Quilt" by Leslie Harrison & quilted by Connie Emmen.
    • "Row by Row" created and quilted by Margie Braach.  For the third year Margie has collected rows & patterns from various shops.
    • "Row by Row" created and quilted by Janice Black.  Most of the patterns are from stores in Idaho and Missouri.
    • "Fun with Bricks" made and quilted by Danette Kroft.  This pattern is from the Bonnie Hunter website.
