ur Guild members enjoy sharing their finished quilts at our general meeting each month. Its a great time to check out color schemes, patterns that may interest you, and admire the work of our fellow artists!

    • "Bits and Pieces", made & quilted by Danette Kroft.  This is made with left-over bits of pieces from previous quilts and fabric exchanges.
    • "Turkey Quilt", made & quilted by Danette Kroft.  A turkey and a pumpkin black were made in a machine applique class.  The turkey became the front of the donation quilt and the pumpkin the back!
    • These Quilts of Valor are for uncles and a cousin who served in Korea in the 1950's.  All have anchor fabric. Made by Laura Lee & quilted by Connie Emmen.

    • "Fiesta Forever" was made & quilted by Chris Klover. This is mode with wonky blocks and Y seams for the black zig-zag between the rows.
    • Mona Harp created "Daddy's QOV" and Connie Emmen quilted it.  At 92, her Dad is a WWII vet.
    • Ruth Crone hand pieced "Dear Jane" in 2014-15 and hand quilted this, finishing this year.

    • The small group 'Material Girls' each made quilts from a pattern by Karla Anderson.

    • Linda Jolly created "String of Pasleys" from a class she took at Sisters, OR.  It is from the pattern String of Pearls by 'Beyond the 'Reef.

    • Esther Kleinkauf created & the Quilt Crossing quilted "Polar Bear Love" from a pattern called 'Frozen Fun' by Nine Mile Patterns.
    • Debbie Caldwell created & quilted "Grandma I Want A Quilt Too" for her oldest grand-daughter, as a birthday gift.
    • Debbie Caldwell created & quilted "Sam's Quilt" from all flannel materials.  This is made for her daughter's graduation this year.
    • Danette Kroft created & quilted "Red, White, & Blue Saturday Sampler" From blocks made in 2003.
    • Aleida Houdyshell presented "Many Paths All Around", made from a Schoolhouse class for curved piecing.  Aleida pieced it from leftovers and Terri Hair quilted it.

    • "Elephants" created & quilted by Darci Mead from the pattern Humble Elephants in the book 'Gramma's Gone Digital'.
    • "Red, White, & Bluepurry" by Connie Emmen was created to donate to The Cat Doctor, from the Garden Cat series by Story Quilts.
    • Connie Emmen received a small top as a donation.  She set it on point,  finished the top and quilted it.
    • "A Little Sunshine" created & quilted by Barbara Smith from a pattern of the same name.
    • "Colorwash Irish Chain" was created & quilted by Joann Hopkins from a pattern by the same name.
    • "Keys to My Heart" by Anna Leonard and quilted by Jami Herndon.  The pattern is from Patchwork Quilting.
    • "Basket Weave" by Aleida Houdyshell was quilted by Teri Hair.  This was made from a batik fabric exchange at BBQ several years ago.
    • "Gosling-Go-Round" was created & quilted by Shannon Wilson from blocks she won.
    • "Block of the Month" was made & quilted by Natalie Hutchinson from blocks won in a library quilting group in Yorktown,  Virginia.
    • Sharon Koelling presents "A Hexagon Table Cover" made from 6 blocks she won at the BBQ Block-of-the-Month.  She made 9 more to add for the cover.
    • "Australian Pickle Dish" created by Siri Jackman to show off her Australian fabrics.
    • Bev Sheeley created & Linda Jolly quilted "Winter 2016-17" for the pattern 'Let it Snow Again' by Laundry Basket Quilts.
    • Madeleine Trainor created & quilted "Bonnie Blue Baskets" from 'Quilts,Quilts, Quilts."  This qualifies as a finished UFO, as she started it in 2002.
    • "Mini Modern" was created & quilted by Madeleine Trainor to practice her free motion quilting using Christie Cameli's Craftsy class.

    • Natalie Hutchinson created "Cash's Baby Quilt" from scraps and quilted it herself.
    • Mona Harp made this QOV and Connie Emmen quiltd this "Disappearing Nine Patch"
    • Marie Lee created "Batik Fun" and Carol Hell quilted it.  This UFO was started in Alaska and finished her this month.
    • Linda Jolly made & quilted "Ray of Sunshine" from 'Spectacular Scraps", during the snow storms this year for her daughter.
    • This quilt is a Quilt of Gratitude for Cpl. Holtry, Boise Police Dept.

    • "Waiting for the Baby Project" was created & quilted by Chris Klover for her first grandchild.
    • "River Rock" was created and quilted by Marilyn Himes.  This block of the month kit was designed by Sarah Maxwell.
    • Connie Emmen created & quilted "Mountain Life" of 4 'Night & Day' wallhanging patterns by Jinny Beyer.
    • This raw edge applique was created & quilted by Marilyn Himes from a kit, "Dance of the Dragonflies".
    • Monica Clements created & quilted "Ocean Triangles" from a quilt that she saw online.  It is for Monica's niece's son.
    • Ann Swanson created & quilted "Unexpected Consequences" from the pattern 'Marseille', as a Moda kit.  This quilt will be returned to the hospital to be used for fundraising efforts.
    • "Memories" was created & quilted by Linda Jolly.  This was made from scraps from quilt retreats and her quilting friends.
    • Karen Falvey created "County Cork" from a pattern, 'Coral Reef' as the Quilt Expressions 2016 Fat Quarter Club.
    • "Stars for Rhone" was created and quilted by Linda Jolly from a pattern, 'Twinkle'.
    • Carmella Wilson practiced using her AccuCutter to create "Peanut Butter & Jelly from the Ohio Star blocks.
    • Carmella Wilson sewed and displayed her "Big Enough" purse.
    • Marie Lee created & Carol Hel quilted this coin purse and butterfly quilt from a stash class.
    • Natalie Huthinson found this antique quillt in Weavervill CA.  She rescued this hand quilted, flour sack quilt for a mere $35.
    • Nancy England created & quilted "Square in a Square" as a Quilt of Valor.  The pattern is Peaceful Valley from the Quilt Magazine, Jan 2013.
    • Joyce Thompson created & quilted this Quilt of Valor from her stash!
    • Mona Harp created "Leo's Quilt" and Connie Emmen quilted it.  Mona's grandson, Leo, picked out the pattern and colors.
    • Dee Wilson and Rita Long created "Hearts" as an original design.
    • Jacqueline Dwight created "Sea Life Serenade" while Colleen Murphy quilted it. The embroidery is SASHIKO.
    • This "Rail Fence" was created & quilted by Joyce Epperson.  This was made for her father who was in the Navy in WWII.
    • "Never Again" was created & quilted by Sharon Koelling.  This was one piece of border fabric that was fussy cut and re-assembled.
    • "Gary's Legacy" was created as an original & quilted by Sharon Koelling.  Created for her neighbor's husband for Christmas to showcase his love of nature and the mountains.
    • This "Wedding Ring" quilt was presented by Story Link and Diane Covington, from a pattern by Judy Myer. Story Link is a program between inmates and their children in the Idaho Dept of Corrections System.
    • "Sue's Memorial" was created & quilted by Shannon Wilson. These were designed from a friend's shirts as the center focus blocks.
    • This "Pinwheel Quilt of Valor" was created & quilted by Nancy England, just because she like the pattern and saw it as a Quilt of Valor!
    • "Country Village" was created by Dona Mumford & quilted by Yvette Ebaugh.  Donna used patterns from the Quilters Runway and her own designs to make a ribbon winner as the annual BBQ Quilt Show.
    • "Fly Fisherman" was created & quilted by Mitzi Aden for her husband.  This piece is hand quilted.
    • "Evelyn's Baby Quilt was created & quilted by Maureen Stevens, after a quilt she made for her eldest granddaughter 12 years ago.  This is for the newest granddaughter.
    • "Cottagewood Stars" was created & quilted by Maureen Stevens from a Thimbleberries collection.  A UFO she is glad to get done!
    • "One Block Wonder" created and quilted by Margie Braach, was started 7 years ago. A UFO she is happy to have finished!
    • "Eureka" was created by Laura Lee & quilted by Connie Emmen. Laura does not usually use kits, but this one had just the right fabrics!
    • "Streets of New Orleans" was created & quilted by Joy Saxon from the front of a magazine.  She figured out the pattern and used a mountain of scraps!
    • "T-Shirt Quilt" was created & quilted by Debra Moore for a co-worker.
    • "Cars" was created & quilted by Debra Moore from a pattern 'Modified Turning Twenty' for her grandson.
    • "Up, Up and Away" was embroidered, pieced and quilted by Darlene Lewis.
    • "Big Squares" was pieced by BBQ members. Danette Kroft purchased the blocks from the Silent Auction at the 2015 Quilt Show.
    • "The Dollinger Quilt" was pieced by Maggie for her Mom, but was too small for the bed.  Connie Emmen quilted it using lovely Asian fabric for the back.
    • The backside of the Dollinger quilt is also an Asian fabric.
    • This Quilt of Valor was presented to Carmella Wilson at our Quilt Show in honor of her service in the Military.
    • "Thankful" was appliqued, pieced and quilted by Barbara Smith. There was enough fabric in the kit to make a second quilt for a friend!
    • "Retro Crossroads" was presented by the small group Piece in the Valley.  The three quilts were made from scraps as charity quilts and quilted by Jami Herndon, Connie Emmen and Linda Jolly.

    • Patty Henry gives quilts instead of flowers for funerals.  This "hugs for Fran" was quilted by Jami Herndon
    • Pat Kluckhohn created & quilted "Bill's Quilt" from a Binding Tool Star Block by the Missouri Star Quilt Co.  This was hand quilted for her king size bed.
    • Marie Lee created & quilted 4 wall hangings from a Row by Row by Kimber Bell.  Marie is standing on the right.
    • Margie Braach created & quilted "Rows of Campers" from various Shops in Idaho & Montana - Row by Row patterns.
    • Madeleine Trainor created & quilted "La Fleur Au Coeur" from 'Redwork in the Garden patterns, which were offered as a BOM several years ago.
    • Chris Klover created & Quilted 4 scrap quilts for Neighbor kids from her stash and leftover blocks.
    • Cheryl Neruda created and quilted "Tumbling Triangles" for a new niece in Iowa.  The idea came from seeing modern quilts on Pinterest.
    • This Quilt of Valor was created by members of BBQ.  It was awarded to Anita Wallinger at the September Quilt Show. Anita served as a surgical ICU nurse at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.

    • Mona Harp made this QOV at the sew day in Feb, 2016.  Center blocks include Mona's designs.
    • Marie Lee took classes at Cindy''s Quilt Shop and made & quilted the one on the right as "Fourth of July".
    • "Cabins in the Sky" was made & quilted by Margie Braach, as she loves miniatures!  140 log cabin blocks each finish at 1 1/4 inches.
    • Leona Manke planned this story quilt, "Ooops!" to show how her cats entertain her. She also quilted it herself.
    • "Berry Bouquet" was made by Karen Falvey & quilted by Jami Herndon.  The pattern is a kit using the quarter log cabin.
    • Gail Wilson made "Tropical Breeze" for Cassie and Jami Herndon quilted it.  The pattern is from Cozy Quilt Designs.
    •  "Bali Wedding Star" was made & quilted by Darci Mead.  It took more than 18 months to paper piece the top.   Pattern is by Judy Neimeyer.
    • "Metro Twist" was made and quilted by Darci Mead. Curves with no pins required!
