DESCRIPTION:There is no in-person BBQ meeting in January.  This gives us a perfect opportunity to enjoy a Zoom Program that features quilter and designer Denise Russell. \nMany quilters have beautiful panel fabrics but aren’t quite sure how to turn them into a successful quilt. Denise will demonstrate methods for designing panel quilts and the tools she uses. \n\nThe role of color and scale of motifs\nThe simple math involved\nStraight or pieced borders?\n\nDenise is based in Kennesaw\, Georgia. For the past 11 years\, she has designed quilts for Moda\, Blank Quilting\, Henry Glass\, Hoffman Fabrics\, P & B Textiles\, Studio\, Maywood Studio\, Northcott\, among other manufacturers.   Her website is Pieced Brain https://piecedbrain.com/featured-in\n\nHer work has been featured in many magazines and books\, including American Patchwork and Quilting\, American Quilter\, Love of Quilting\, McCall’s Quilting\, Quilter’s World\, and others. \nCity Blocks\, her first quilt book\, was published in 2024 by Leisure Arts.
