	We started in September 1983 emerging from an embroidery group. In 1986 we became an official non-profit organization known as Boise Basin Quilters Inc. We have met as a Guild for most of those years at the Boise Church of Christ, 2000 Eldorado Street, Boise, Idaho. We are made up of quilters from beginners to national award winners. We promote the craft and art of quilting in the community and in the state of Idaho. Boise Basin Quilters is an organization filled with talented, creative, knowledgeable people who are willing to share their quilting talents through classes, idea-sharing, demonstrations, and skill-building activities. Come join us! You'll be glad you did! BBQ has many small satellite groups that meet one or more times a month. These offer a variety based on interest, geography, and schedules. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Our 2008 quilt show "Pieces of Life - 25 Years" will be June 28 & 29.
