Welcome
to Boise Basin Quilters.
Who We Are:
BBQ is the largest quilt guild in Idaho. Most of the members live in Boise, the capital city of Idaho, or in neighboring towns and communities. Although there are no real boundaries, the geographical field of membership ranges from Mountain Home in the east to Weiser in the west, south into Owyhee County, and north to the McCall area.
What We Do:
Our goal is to promote quilting and provide a place for quilters to meet and network.
Where We Meet:
Boise Church of Christ 2000 Eldorado Street, Boise, Idaho
The church is one block east of the corner of Cole and Fairview in Boise, then two blocks north on Eldorado Street
Meetings start at 7:00 PM. The fellowship hall of the church is open at 6:30 so that members and guests have time to visit all the activity tables which includes our huge library. Members can check out as many as 5 books at each meeting. (See "Library" on the Home page menu.)
General meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of the month. The meetings include Show and Tell, Block of the Month, Round Robin, Door Prizes, and a special program.
We do not meet in December or July to give our members a break at these busy times. Several times a year we bring in teachers from out of state to teach workshops and present a lecture to the guild. Teachers usually visit in October and May. See the Calendar pages for current schedule.
